I bought a refurbished model - they are usually better than new. Not so with this vacuum cleaner. A piece of plastic broke off the first one, rendering the vacuum head unusable. That was after vacuuming my RV 3 or 4 times. Raven replaced him. After unpacking the spare part, I check this special part, and lo and behold, it was glued back on with SUPER GLUE! You'd think that for nearly $200, Shark would take the time to replace a broken part rather than superglue it together and hope for the best. I am returning it for a full refund and shipping it back to Dyson.
