Can't you put it in the dryer?
I'm going to wash a shirt before wearing it and find that it needs to be washed on a gentle cycle, laid flat to dry and lightly ironed if needed. I took it out of the washing machine, once it's gone it's decomposed, it's dry and boy does it need ironing. That's too much work for a golf shirt.
