Finally a LONG enough hex shank bit
I have a couple of hex shank bits from other manufacturers this size and they are all quite short. With a drill with a drill chuck, I often had to use a conventional round drill simply because the hexagon was not long enough. To date, IRWIN is the only manufacturer to make these drills without sacrificing length and drill bit. Bits are 1/2" to 3/4" longer than similar sized bits from other brands. At first I bought this size (7/64 inch) but soon I bought a whole set of 12 pieces in different sizes.
