Great socks! - Socks

Six titanium pins were inserted into the bones of my left foot as a result of an accident. After that, they put a walking plaster cast on me. I thought everything would be fine once the cast was removed, but it wasn't. My foot, ankle, and calf to calf still swell when I sit or stand for long periods of time and my surgeon told me they will swell for some time. Too bad. I've tried different brands of compression stockings but I've never been able to put them on. I don't like anyone. They looked like marionette socks to me. When I came across these socks I decided to give them a try. I don't have any bariatric problems, just post-surgery swelling. I'm really tired of having to lie down and raise my legs during the day. I took the opportunity to try to read a little, but I always fell asleep instead. So time is wasted. Sometimes the swelling didn't even go down. These socks pretty much solved the problem. I've been sitting for hours now, only getting up and walking around a few times, and I have very minimal swelling in my leg. Unlike compression stockings, these socks were very easy to put on. You just slide in. While I struggled with compression stockings for an hour or more and then couldn't put them back on, these socks came on in about thirty seconds. They also feel great. They're fairly warm with no seams that can bunch up and hurt. And the non-slip bottom is great. My only complaint is that they seem too big! I would like a slightly smaller sock as I am a very petite person. (After my nightmare with compression stockings, I can't believe I want anything less.) Knee-highs will also be comfortable under pants in cooler weather. (Yes, even Southern California gets pretty chilly in the winter.) But I'll keep these socks and will definitely use them. They are comfortable and warm and once my left foot has healed I will have to do the same surgery on my right foot. So I get a lot from them. I think I can even put them on over a walking cast if I have to. After the accident and the surgical injury, the circulation in my feet and ankles wasn't the best. These socks will help solve this problem. My feet are warm, not cold. I needed something to improve circulation before hopefully getting back to my day walks, hikes and bike rides next year. Don't think your feet, ankles or legs are too swollen to wear this. It's not like this. These socks are very stretchy and still somehow stay on the foot. As I said, I wear them for hours and never have to put them on. And you can throw them in the washer and dryer. You don't sit down. Overall I am very happy with these socks. I highly recommend them.
