Great monitor but not for XBox

This is a review of the Gigabyte G27Q 27 Inch 144 Hz 1440p IPS Display Gaming Monitor with 2560 x 1440 Resolution Flat Panel Gaming Monitor. For PC gaming, this is a great monitor. However, if you're hoping to use it with an Xbox like the XBox One X or the XBox Series X, where 1440P is now supported with refresh rates up to 120Hz, be aware that this particular monitor will not work with an XBox One X 120Hz. It runs at 1440P but only at 60Hz. I tested this with an AudioQuest Pearl 48 cable (an HDMI 2.1 cable that works on 8K TVs), so it's definitely not a cable issue. The XBox One X never shows 120Hz as an option, even if you reset the console (I'm talking about the 'reset' option, which completely wipes the OS and takes quite a while - no reboot). I've tried all sorts of things like turning off all display options except 1440P etc to see if that would make the 120Hz option available. I also disabled AdaptiveSync on the display itself and the XBox still doesn't show 120Hz as an option. I've read that others have been able to successfully enable 1440P @ 120Hz on a related curved monitor, the G29QC 27". Another weird thing I've found is that while this monitor claims HDR400 to support (which is basically HDR10 with different light intensities) it doesn't seem to work when the HDR10 signal is sent from the XBox, it seems to work when the HDR signal is sent from the PC via DisplayPort, so I'm guessing that this monitor's HDR400 support may not work over HDMI, only for DisplayPort, I also tested this with latest monitor firmware.
