Our female corn snake (4'6" long) is enjoying her new den. Best archived. Note that the bottom of this den is open - this works well on the warm end of the den so that she has most of her body in contact with the floor above the heating pad.A not so good design feature is that there is a short section of tunnel connecting the front and back of the den. Once her body has passed this tunnel it is therefore almost impossible to get her out of the cave unless she is willing to cooperate Tunnel it can nest itself in the inner grooves quite well so it usually goes with, when we lift a cave so she gets 2-3 stars for the design details but she likes to stay in and go outside sometimes so I give her 4 stars overall.
