Several reviews said that the screws for the legs stick out at the bottom, so I wanted to clarify this issue. There aren't any if you align your feet properly, but if you place your feet too far from the edge of the ottoman, they will. The instructions state that the edge of the leg should be aligned 5mm from the edge of the ottoman, which is only about 3/16th of an inch. Press on the side of the stool to feel the edge of the wood. Don't use the outline on the bottom fabric to line up the legs, it's too wide!
