Bought 2 of these as hot weather is inevitable. I have air conditioning at home but I'm trying to save on bills and use other means of cooling myself on milder summer days or even early fall nights when it's still warm but not enough to turn on the air conditioning and you want comfort to sleep. I also love the soothing "white noise" it provides. Anyway, I received the first of the two I ordered (still waiting for the second) and after assembling (EASY), connecting and trying it out, I was immediately amazed (no pun intended) at how durable it is! I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews and bought this fan anyway as I'm very happy with the exhaust performance it offers. It's literally like an air conditioner, on full blast, and it got so cold I turned it off less than 5 minutes into the test run. Plug it back in and run it on the lowest settings now, and even on the lowest settings it's a lot more powerful than all my previous fans at the highest settings (including one from QVC that I spent $50 on last summer. This fan is literally more powerful at it). lowest setting as QVC, highest setting is NO JOKE!) This fan definitely has a buzz. I sit here writing this after cooling down more than enough on the lowest setting. Definitely glad I got 2 for $19 each, it was a steal. I just saw the price is now $34. Luckily I got mine when I did as 3 days ago they were only $19 each!
