Review on 🔊 Enhanced Audio Experience with Creative SB1040 Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI-E Sound Card by David Golden

I've had this card for about 4 months now and overall I'm happy with my purchase. The card itself works great for what I use it for (7.1 Razer Tiamat), but the software running this thing is rubbish. Setup is a nightmare, menus almost impossible to navigate. I also find this stupid thing out of place. a lot of. Sometimes it works and sometimes it just refuses. It worked for me on three Windows installs (Win 7 and Win 8 because I had new drives) each time I ran into the same issues. If you want to work, he'll do his job, but if he's annoying, it's just salt.
