I love my bottle of Iron Flask, it's seen better days, been dropped, hit and so on but it still works. When the silicone seal around the original cap and water bottle purchased in April 2020 started to loosen around September 21st I ordered these 2 packs of caps to replace them. the water is either in a vacuum flask or in an iron flask or in a thermos, at some point the water takes on a strange taste, like a chemical taste. BOTH water bottles were fine with the old caps and now the water has this weird aftertaste. I thought it would go its way, but no. I'm trying to see if I can replace the silicone lid pieces on the old lid and see if it goes away. 1 star, don't know what the problem is but it has lasted for over a month with funny water taste when the lid was replaced.
