I fitted the gauge into the case, it seemed to fit, but I ended up having to wrap a layer of electrical tape around the gauge to keep the gauge snug against the case. frame. Without this I could not have tightened the clamp enough to secure the gauge Overall this should do the trick for me It has a nice matte black finish and is well built Comes with the correct hardware to mount the gauge and to attach to the rudder of the boat (longer screws may be needed). I took off a few stars as the instructions are fuzzy and the wire lugs are difficult to install.
