This rinsing device allows a lot of water to be cleaned between the teeth without high pressure that can damage the gums. The design is chic and well made. I made some design changes to make it easier to use. The first was to add a clip to the cup I was using as a water reservoir. The original design has a weighted tube that pumps water from the reservoir to the floss. Because the floss moves so much water, it needs to be refilled when you brush your teeth. The additional clamp ensures that the hose stays in the reservoir. The second design change was the addition of rubber bands to the body of the floss. The floss becomes slippery during use because the water that is rinsed and drained then wets the body of the floss. The floss has two settings (low and high). I only had to use the low setting to get good results. With previous irrigators, the pumps wear out over time and higher settings are required to achieve the same effective result. For now I expect to use higher settings as the floss ages.
