Purchased as a rhinestone pattern stick; they should do that. The work is not very good; requires additional pressure, repeated attempts to pick up rhinestones. Went back to wax crayons as they work much better. Also, half was broken when they arrived so I had to sharpen one and see if it sharpened smooth. They don't. Didn't know they were non-returnable, would never have bought with that policy if I saw the notice. Also, the reviews of these pens are mostly about some kind of nail glue. Bad deal all round. $9 spent
