The tip is a little tricky to use, but other than that it's great.

I use this case to protect a handle magnifying glass and it works great for that purpose. In my case, the tip is not needed. So I'm happy. The pouch is difficult to fully tighten with the drawstring. I think this is partly due to the size of the pouch (21cm x 15cm) and the fact that leather doesn't fold like fabric. Perhaps the skin will become more elastic with repeated use.
