This kit saves me at least $100-150 on parts I didn't have to replace plus 4-5 hours. the time it took me to disassemble and replace the lower ball joint on my honda accord. I replaced the malleable bushings on my Honda Accord which were slightly cracked and all went well on the right forearm. However, when I attempted to knock the lower ball joint out of the left forearm, something went wrong, bending the castle nut and upsetting one of the threads. I removed the lower arm and changed the bushings, but I can't install the castle nut on the ball joint. I used the 12mm x 1.25 die in this set to cut new threads to replace the bad one and was able to put the new castle nut back on and tightened to spec. It took me about 30 minutes to finish a 1/2 (180 degree) thread after waiting 2 days for Revain to ship it, but for me it was worth it. I didn't use all the parts in the set but I think they are much more compact than the typical hardware store tool and tap set, perfect for working on cars with limited space and old rusty screws. However the kit is small, it only works with 12mm, 10mm, 8mm and 6mm screws, anything bigger is out of luck.
