I've been buying Super Silver Shampoo and Conditioner from my local Cost Cutters for years, so in January when they were temporarily out of stock I didn't hesitate to order them online. Big mistake! I just recently finished my old bottles and started using these. At first I thought that changing the formula simply wouldn't work. Actually it isn't. As Cost Cutters offers a return policy I bought the new formula through them instead when they were restocked and while they are still a little different they work great. The little bottles I bought here had the following issues... The consistency and quality is thicker than it should be and as a result I have to put more water in my hair to massage the products in. After using the conditioner my hair is very difficult to comb and after drying it leaves a weird waxy residue. I've never had this problem with any of the Designline air conditioners before, so I was very disappointed. The concept is cool in theory, but not in practice.1. If the caps worked as intended their only complaint would be that the opening is too small. It's funny how hard I have to push myself to get enough. In fact, my arm hurts.2. Has anyone thought how painful it would be to rotate bottles when you have a handful of product? Because the top is rounded, you can't even put it on. If you put them down with the lid open they will leak a little. I find that even more annoying after all the effort I put into getting started. 3. The shampoo bottle cap is broken and won't open fully which means I have to press even harder than I did with the conditioner and you can't fully remove the caps without breaking them. Needless to say they were a waste of money and I threw both bottles in the bin. Before that, however, I took photos, including batch codes, to show that they are not fake. I will never buy small bottles again due to the design and will only buy large bottles from my local salon. What a rip off. Be ashamed of selling inferior products over the Internet.
