This is a computer fan. I did however use it as a cooling fan on my 2003 KTM 525SX Supermoto. This is a review for people who found this fan through links on the KTM forums. This fan easily pushes twice as much air as a standard 120mm fan, for example. You can connect it directly to the battery via the switch. SX radiators do not have a temperature sensor connector like EXC or MXC radiators. However, if you have an extended tank (gas in the fairings) this will marginally keep the temp in place at best. When I'm sitting in traffic it drastically reduces the rate at which the temperature rises, but it will only go above 225*F while seated. Better than nothing, but not a perfect solution. Seems fairly resilient to the elements as I've had it for a while and it's not dead yet, rain, dirt etc has little effect on it.
