So I really liked this material when I applied it. I had a mirror polish on my dark gray wrx. It's super hydrophobic. I did a full paint touch up and removed all the wax before applying. After 2 weeks I noticed a few things. And it doesn't accumulate anymore. Alleged protection against water stains. I've noticed that I've never had problems with water spots before, but now I realize they all appear on my hood when I wash my car, although I always test the car afterwards. It's hard to see on the camera, but I took a picture. These are hard water stains that appeared after a two minute wash. Super hard to remove! 2. They market it because you can wash grime off your car (like ceramic coatings) so I did a no-drip foam snow wash and the only things it worked for were my windows and exhaust pipes. However, when I approached the paint and touched it, the dirt came off really easily. My car seems to get dirty very easily after applying this stuff. It's like static. I have to wash it once a week or it's just a mess. So gloss and hydrophobicity is a 4, ease of use is a 4, but protection is a 3, no better than any other wax. Maybe even worse as I get water stains.
