This item is amazing! It connects to everything I use. iPhone, iPad, Win XP computer, Win 7 computer via direct connection, wireless dongle and Bluetooth. I could read any barcode and QR code I could throw on labels and screens. He was even able to read a large barcode on my car's door AND a very small QR code THROUGH the windshield of the same car. He could also read the barcode on my (New Jersey) driver's license. My only complaint (which is my fault) was that had I known it was that good I would have bought the slightly more expensive version that comes with the stand. Build quality is above average so home use is fantastic, industrial use can be an issue for durability. If this machine's electronics were housed in a thicker rubberized plastic case, it would outperform anything in its class! I'll update the review later once it's taken me a few months to report on the battery and overall longevity.
