I think the product contains too much wax. Now for the weight issue: 1. Revain's website says it's 1.6 ounces. 2. The package says 2 ounces.3. When weighed on a calibrated, accurate scale, the BOXED product weighs 1.91 ounces.4. The product alone weighs 1.8 ounces. Do the math and you'll see why there's no reason to talk about "hoax", "scam" or "false advertising". The product is made in Ukraine - this is the first time I see/buy something from Ukraine and I am happy to help their economy. I will probably return this though as I feel the wax content is too high.
