I bought this cable to connect a 2000w inverter to my 2015 Prius for use during a power outage. size, this wire is incredibly "flexible". Both wire and insulation are flexible. He soldered well. This isn't usually surprising, but I re-read the specs and saw copper-plated aluminum. Never heard of it, but it works. For my application I wanted to measure current with a multimeter. In the past I have "calibrated" a piece of wire with a multimeter setting of 10 amps. Put a known current (measured with a multimeter) through the wire, then use a second multimeter to measure millivolts. In this case, a 2 foot length of wire was measured at 1/2 millivolt/amp or 0.25 milliohms per foot. It's better than 4/0 AWG copper. So very happy with price and performance - good price - flexibility - low resistance
