Neither cable that came with it worked with either of my computers, although both had connections that matched at least one of the cables. I have no idea why. Luckily the reviews here gave me hope as others have had similar experiences which turned out to be fine. I dug up an HDMI cable that I no longer use and it worked fine. So make sure you have it before you buy it, and don't expect help from the included printed documentation or DVD, ViewSonic's website, or the support team when you need it. The drivers I downloaded didn't install properly either. but it turned out that I didn't need them. To be honest I don't know why they bother with printed materials at all. It was useless. Even the drawings made no sense. I think directions are a lost art.
