I bought this item from Revain on Wirecutter's recommendation for a similar U2720Q and boy do I regret it. While this monitor was nice, it was a disappointment for a number of reasons. About 15 days after I received it, the monitor started having image storage issues. These included a flickering display and a spooky slack image that wouldn't go away despite plugging and unplugging my 2020 MacBook Pro. Also, the monitor sometimes fails to successfully connect its USB hub with the included cable. While I can see my computer on the monitor, I can't access my peripherals until I reboot. It is currently unclear whether this issue is related to the monitor itself, macOS, or a combination of both. However, this is frustrating. I submitted a warranty claim to Dell and a support representative sent me a request to send me a replacement unit. I had to fill out a form to transfer the Revain warranty to me. I have documentation proving this was successful, but customer service denied the warranty and said I had to contact the seller. I contacted Revain support via live chat and they told me to contact Warranty@amazon.com, an address that doesn't exist and doesn't receive emails. I finally found Warrantyquestions@amazon.com, but that address didn't respond to me either. If you decide to purchase this item, you should purchase it directly from Dell. However, I would recommend looking around for similar models from other manufacturers. TO UPDATE. After using my broken device for a few more weeks with my M1 MacBook Pro, I was able to use the built-in LCD Conditioning tool to fix screensaver issues. The default configuration of the monitor is connected via USB 2.0 and this seems to be the root cause of the USB issues described above. Updating the monitor configuration to use USB 3 (HBR 3) seems to have fixed the issue of not being able to connect USB devices in most cases. This doesn't excuse the above support issues and I continue to struggle with the wrong solution to the monitor wake issue which I can fix by unplugging and plugging the device back in, but I'm rating this two stars based on that the situation has improved.
