I love this thing. It's simple, but it works. Having broken several headphones since throwing them in my gym bag or bag, this has helped me keep a pair of headphones in tune. They're smaller than I thought they would be, but they work great with Apple's standard iPod headphones and another pair I bought. No more tangling every time I go to the gym! It turns and goes. I've found that it works best if I take a moment and insert the headphones into the top slots and then wrap the cord around the center and insert the connector into the wrapped cord. It's easy to deploy in seconds, but I'm not suggesting waiting until you're in the car to try to deploy it. This is the work of two hands. I throw the wrapped package in my purse and it's easy to find (fits in the bottom of my bag if I miss my bag). Very happy with the purchase.
