Overall this is a great filter. Even with only two media compartments, I can fit everything I need in the filter. The reason I only got four stars is because the two media compartments are connected, but the clips broke off when I first serviced the filter. I went ahead and intentionally broke the other clip to make it easier to separate and rearrange the trays. It is not clear why clips are needed. It is very important to pay attention to the documents attached to the filter. There is a small card with instructions on how to remove the filter from the inlet/outlet flow tubes. If you follow a few simple steps, water will not drip out of the pipes at all when you disconnect them.
