Lifeguard! I restore vintage Mustangs for a living. 12v system with 6v indicators, they use a regulator to control the current flow to the indicators. In order for them to be read out accurately, you need EXACTLY 6V constant. IVR playback is terrible, this has been a problem for years. Decided to give it a try. Ideal! The input voltage fluctuates between 11.5V and 13.5V, the output voltage is stable at EXACTLY 6.0V! Couldn't be happier. There are no instructions, but it's kind of a no brainer. But attached is how to set it up to plug directly into the mains on a 64-68 Mustang (and most vintage Fords) to bypass the factory IVR.
