Review on Omix-Ada 18806.01 Transmission Shift Boot: Premium Quality Solution for Smooth Gear Shifting by Josh Maher

I originally gave this product 5 stars because it was easy to install and a perfect fit. But after installing it in my 1972 Jeep, I couldn't drive my Jeep for about a month. Yesterday when I ran it when I shifted into 3rd gear the derailleur shoe broke right in the middle where the derailleur touched the shoe. It was in my garage in spring weather, it was neither cold nor hot, the minimum was about 45 degrees and the maximum was about 85 degrees. So now I have a brand new rubber spare boot with a tear and I can return it a long time ago. Very disappointed with this product!
