Review on Goldwood Sound Speaker Terminal RGT 5000 2 by John Fuentes

These are solid and well made units. I love that the pins can be disassembled so I can easily solder my connection, then rotate and finally apply some solder to the threads to ensure a complete and solid connection in my speakers. The foam on top of the cups makes for a great seal and saves me the mess of adding my own sealant that tends to become permanent otherwise. I can easily remove and reinstall them for some reason without the extra work of using old sealant and adding new. This is great value for money. Also, I install them upside down compared to most people, so the inserted banana plugs are pointing down rather than up. I was afraid they might loosen and fall out, but no, they hold so securely I'm not worried at all about them falling out. This will prevent my cables from having unsightly bends and/or kinks/kinks behind the speakers. My only downside is that the manufacturer doesn't include the 8 small screws needed for installation. I have to get them separately and paint them.
