I got to the point where I covered my hair regularly. I've tried some of the standard dandruff shampoos to treat an itchy, flaky scalp but they were so harsh and artificial. I always felt like my hair smelled like a dressing room and looked exhausted after use. I also noticed weight loss so I desperately decided to try this shampoo and conditioner and I'm so glad I did! The shampoo lathers well and I leave it on while I wash my face and upper body (to give the piterin zinc it's time to do that). It rinses out well and leaves hair and scalp clean. The conditioner is nice and thick - a little enough which is great for my long hair! I rub it into the scalp and distribute it down the length of the hair to the ends and then leave it on for a few minutes. When I rinse it out my hair is soft and bouncy and I can even comb my hair properly without the need for an extra leave-in conditioner which is amazing! I feel like many shampoos and conditioners that are pleasant at first end up leaving a lot of residue, but I've been using this for a while and haven't had to turn to a brightening product. I should also mention that the scent is subtle and pleasant. I'm sensitive to strong or artificial smells and I often look for unscented products so I was a bit nervous but this was great! No headaches, no lingering odor. Just a nice soothing scent when washing or conditioning. For health and beauty fans, a lot of attention has been paid to the pH of products lately and this product is labeled as pH balanced, which is good news. I even tested it and no wonder it's in the perfect range to keep your skin happy! I am attaching a photo to show my test. :) Another thing worth mentioning, the design of the bottle is great. I love that I can turn the conditioner upside down and it doesn't leak out so I'm sure I can use every last drop! And the bottles are made from recycled, unbleached, post-consumer product, which is amazing. We need a lot more of that around the world.
