I bought this router in July 2009 and it has worked ever since. I use g and n networks and the performance is amazing. My netbook connects reliably at 130Mbps, 2.4GHz while my laptop connects at 150Mbps, 5GHz. The internet radio works well with 802.11g. All use WPA2. Connections are very stable, without any interruptions. The range is reasonable, the connection is available on three floors of my house and the router is on the top floor. I have basic requirements for my wireless router: no port forwarding, use of DHCP, etc. My DSL modem is configured in bridge mode, Linksys WRT400N handles the DSL registration. My DSL operator is ATT. I chose to set up the device through the browser rather than using the utility that came with it. It was easy to make, took about 10 minutes. Although I have experience in networks. So no comments on the configuration utility. The first version of the device had bugs. I was affected by the browser interface stopped working but eventually returned. An updated firmware has been available on the Linksys website since March 2010 which seems to have solved my problem (and apparently many other bugs). However, my problem did not affect the main functions of the device, it still worked perfectly. The new firmware is reliable for me. Here are the mistakes. New firmware address 'Firmware version: v 1.0.02 B11 Added support for Windows 7 Fixed No NVRAM issue Added PPTP forwarding feature. Fixed issue with DHCP reservation. Fixed multicast issue. Fixed HTTPd response error Fixed PPPoE keep alive Fixed RIP static route Fixed DynDNS/TZO update Fixed wireless WEP authentication in automatic mode Fixed wrong MAC address cloning Fixed with MAC address filtering for wireless clients Fixed port forwarding with overlapping port numbers Fixed ActiveX web filter issue Fixed WPS issue when router uses default settings. Fixed an issue with stopping the PING function. Fixed configuration restore warning when using an invalid configuration file. Overall I'm very happy with this router and the Revain is a great value. I will recommend this device to my friends.
