I have used Collinite 885 Wax in the past and read several reviews that said it was even better. After 1 year with 885 I recently washed the boat and used cleaner and then wax 925 and did another stain with 885. I hand polished the spots. While in my experience the cleaner did remove some extra dirt that is hard to see with the naked eye, in my opinion the 925 wax was no better than the 885 wax. As I only did a wax job 1 month ago, the extra time around to determine the wear potential of the 925. The 885 wears great and appears to last at least 1 year in a freshwater environment. Very happy with that. The durability of the 920 is still unclear. I have complaints about the 920 and the 885 because both really need an electric buffer to get the food you need. The more coats you apply and hand polish, the closer you get to a super shiny electropolish. I also compared to the flagship Meguiar and found that the flagship isn't superior to either the 885 or 925. Honestly, I still feel like the best overall shine comes from a good ol' carnub wax - it just doesn't last as long.
