Direct replacement for the black framed filters that came with our Neato Connected robot vacuum. They don't have a mesh layer over the filter's 'teeth' so the 'teeth' tend to get clogged up pretty quickly with dust, lint, pet hair and whatever. The filter comb supplied with the robot gets into crevices and cleans them well. We have found that we can give one of these filters a thorough cleaning for a couple of weeks before throwing it away. However, we usually run Norm (our robot) three to four times a week. When we compared the cost to the high-performance black box filters, it didn't make financial sense to buy two of these for $40 compared to nine for three-quarters the price. Yes, we spend extra time cleaning them between runs, but Norm still needs to empty the bin regularly, and it doesn't take that long.
