We have a 4ft high aluminum fence around the large patio/pool area. Our toy poodle could climb through certain spots in the fence, usually attracted by a bird in the yard. We have neighbors with 4 big dogs, for my dog's safety I decided to give it a try. It keeps my dog inside the fence, he also listens better to commands to stay off the fence since wearing this device. I thought he hated it and it was too hot but it's not. He loves wearing it and when he's lying on the deck it doubles as a built in pillow! It's great to enjoy with him at the pool.
