Living in a pandemic means adapting. I've been assigned to host a small fundraising luncheon. I expected plastic cutlery to be noticed, but I didn't expect it to be so appreciated. Comments were positive, with many saying it was a thoughtful safety gesture given the current COVID situation. I wrapped the bags in a linen napkin with an elegant pearl ring to keep it formal. It was a bold social experiment and it worked! They arrived well packaged and were strong enough to eat a full meal. The little sachets of salt and pepper are a nice touch. Communal salt and pepper shakers are not a good thing.
