I have had this product for a few months (and we have had sunny and snowy days) and I can say that it is a good product: the size I bought (46 x 48) was perfect for my bedroom window. They protect against external solar heat and light and help warm the bedroom inside. The only downside is the folding mechanism of the blinds: I have to pull more than the size of my window for the blinds to cover the entire window. If I didn't do it this way, the lampshade would continue to fold, leaving an uncovered area underneath. Now I do it in a way that I don't really care about and the overall appearance makes up for that small detail.
