This really blows up my 9.5 foot Achilles Fast inflatable. I leave the pump on as I go from the fill valve to the next. Why? Because it gives the pump a chance to cool down for a minute before making the next chamber. I use a small AGM battery from a garden tractor with a harness. It works through multiple inflations. Until the juice runs out. The foot pump is still needed in case something happens to it, but I have to say I like it. Advantages - fast filling and no overflow if you use the red valve when filling. The downsides are another thing to store in the boat or RV and the short - I said short - inlet hose. I removed the fittings from the factory hose, went to Ace and bought a 6 foot clear vinyl hose. I wanted to use fiber reinforced hose but the hose is tight on the factory fittings so fiber reinforced will not work. No problem. I've tried vinyl hose for filling and suction/drainage and it works great. The pressure is so low that there were no problems. I highly recommend this model. According to reviews, the regular model struggles with a lot of work, for example, inflating an inflatable boat. For toys, the normal model is probably fine.
