I used to use phone holders with vents. I like this concept, but it's not as stable as I'd like. My cell phone was always on the floor under my feet. After thinking about it for a while, I wanted a phone holder that would be both convenient to use and secure. (I use my phone hands-free.) This holder is great, yes you will lose the cup holder but get a functional and secure phone holder. The arm movements are adjustable to almost any angle you need. The mug is small but fits in the mug holder. Mine is tight, I haven't lost my phone yet. The wing nuts that control the position of the hand on the cup stay in place. The reset button on the back is also great. I wanted one on the side but after using this one I thought having the button on the back would be a great idea. You can clasp your hands on the carrycot as usual. When you press the button, it will be released smoothly.
