I have never had a glasses holder that did not work immediately after purchase. The problem usually occurs after the holder has been used for a while. Now it's unfair to expect a product to last forever. My last holder was from Sunglass Hut, it cost $6 and lasted many years. Then one day it just fell into pieces - I suspect the plastic wasn't UV protected or overstressed with use. The only negative comment I have on this holder is that sunglasses with very thin arms tend to snag when you put them in the holder. I have a pair of these, so I have to be extra careful every time I put them in a clip. However, they wear two pairs of sunglasses for several months without any problems. If they last a year I'll increase the rating from 4 to 5 stars.
