Maybe I expected too much.

Some parts are metal with a nice brushed nickel finish (valve sleeve and lever handle) but large round faceplate, cheap plastic wall with a shiny chrome finish. Not what I wanted or expected. Equally annoying is that the supplied screw for attaching the metal lever adapter to the valve ball stem is just too short. There is no way to make it work. It took a trip to the hardware store for a longer stainless steel screw to get this thing working (to hold the individual pieces of the kit together). Very frustrating. Maybe they aren't all like that but I bought 2 and they both had the same short screw. live and learn
