Previous complaints that I have read in other reviews did not apply to me. Much of this was accomplished by following the instructions in the owner's manual or resetting things like adjusting the counterweight or installing the sheave. I accidentally messed up the counterweight and had to reset it. I tried unsuccessfully for 30 minutes because I misread the instructions. When I realized my mistake, the factory reset took less than a minute. A check revealed that the drive was unbalanced. I also had some imbalance. I simply loosened the strap, removed the plate and then reinstalled. It was easy to fix. The most common complaint I've read is that this player won't pair with any Bluetooth device. I ordered (from Revain) a relatively inexpensive set ($99) of Boytone Bluetooth speakers with a subwoofer. The listing of these speakers said nothing about turntables, so I was skeptical. However, pairing took literally less than two minutes. All in all, this is the best home music player I've ever had; especially for the price.
