Okay listen to me so I bought this brush without reading the reviews so I ended up thinking it was a waste of money but I'll try anyway. So everything came out exactly as the reviews said (subject to bold) but I think it's some kind of oil that makes the rubber slide on the plastic. So I washed this thing in dish soap and bleach. (I had to be extra careful because I saw someone say their scalp was inflamed). So, after brushing and whatnot, I left it on and then rinsed it out and let it dry. It's time to test this mug. So boom I had a fear in my heart because I saw some of you say it pulled all your hair out but gosh I love trying different things. In any case. Bottom line I couldn't tell any difference. I don't know if this is real or fake, but it definitely worked on my thick hair. I have an afternoon nap and it worked with minimal loss. (Remember, always start at the ends and work your way up, never start at the roots. If you do this patiently, your hair won't break). pastries. I have also used it on my daughter's hair with no problems and no tears. I haven't had any broken bristles either. Definitely worth it now
