In terms of functionality. I give him c. It opens and locks the tailgate with a keyless remote. However, this renders the manual key lock unusable. As for the installation, I give it FI, it's modeled, wired and tested and it works, but the key doesn't work anymore. The instructions are pretty bad. I'll give them a D. The instructions are a bit incomplete and lack specific details. The images are blurry and almost unusable. They have to guess which wires on their wiring harness go to the corresponding wires in the truck. You identify 2 wires to find them, but don't determine which of their wires goes where. Also, the holes on their bracket are too small for the screws that attach them to the tailgate. I'm debating if I want to take the time to drill/drill holes to get a refund or just throw the thing away. As said, it works, although the loss of button functionality is annoying. The installation became a headache. I'm not sure if I recommend this product or not. I've wanted this feature for a long time. I'm a bit disappointed, especially considering the price.
