I bought these shoes for my 6 year old to wear when he goes down the river with slippery boulders and they still work great. He's worn them a few times in the last week and he really likes them because they don't slip or hit rocks. This is the first pair of water shoes that he hasn't complained of scratching or chafing his ankles. He's always had blisters from other species, but so far so good. The outsole is flexible and the upper is stretchy with a pattern that provides a cool feel. They are true to size my son is 12-13 and 13 fits well with little room to grow but not enough to trip over.
