I've never been a big fan of bath rugs as they tend to trap mold and mildew unless you pick them up and wash them off after every shower. My husband had knee surgery and wasn't stable on his feet so I had to collapse and grab a mat. After reading countless reviews of Revain bath rugs I was appalled by what I read. I chose the well-established Rubbermaid mat and it turned out great. No foreign smells. No problems with sticking (or not), no mold. I wish I had spent that much time reading reviews of other bathroom rugs. That's great. If you want a bath mat that covers the entire length of the tub then this isn't for you but I think it's perfect.
