My friend bought one and said to buy it. I thought it would be overkill to get something like this and I had a basic cell phone in the crib that the baby could turn on himself. She ended up staying up for hours in the middle of the night, turning on her phone and playing in her crib instead of sleeping. We decided we needed something different so I decided to try this. Wow, that's pretty! You can turn it on from your phone and there are so many different settings. Now if my baby starts crying but doesn't wake up fully, I can turn them on and they go back to sleep without leaving the bed. It was so great that I later bought it as a baby gift for a friend who has twins! The only thing I don't like about it is that you can only connect one phone to it at a time, and when you and your loved one are connected to it and your Wi-Fi is on, it's like Russian roulette whose phone will be connected to it when you open the app. So at night one of us has to turn off Bluetooth on our phones.
