Thinner than expected. But it works for our 2 kittens. It wobbles and doesn't like the sides, so no matter how I turn it against the wall, it's still uneven and wobbles. Also, the top box wasn't cut properly, so the windows on it don't look like they do with the schematic. It was easy to put together once I figured out all the parts. Nothing has been marked and there are only 3 installation pictures for your guidance.
