Sturdy enough for supervised puppy training, but can be chewed by a puppy.

This leash was a welcome relief. I bought the 30 foot length and it allowed me to exercise my dog in the community yard that runs behind my house. There is a fence but it doesn't go all the way around and there is a busy road nearby so I have to keep the puppy on a leash at all times. The short leash doesn't let me play with her. 30 feet is enough for a backyard without getting stuck in trees and bushes in the yard. For a larger room, such as B. a field, I would buy a 50 foot line. 30 feet is enough for a puppy but would be too small for a larger dog. I bought the orange one so my neighbors will know my dog is on a leash and not just running around unsupervised when she walks past their porch. It gets wet and dirty and drags on the floor, but it's easy to wash. This leash is lightweight and durable. However, it is not one that should be left unattended. My pup chews on it sometimes while I exercise it and has recovered somewhat in just a few tries. I think if I tied her to it at a campsite or anywhere else she would gobble it up in a few minutes if I left her unattended. So I would recommend staying on the other end of the leash for your dog's safety. The dog will most likely wrap or snag it around trees and other objects, even if they don't chew on them, if you leave them unattended.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
