At the time of purchase, the question of a second washing robot did not stand at all. To be honest, I was glad about it. The area of the house is large, we mostly have carpets in the house, so the IRobot Roomba S9 + more than suited me. In all tests and technical specifications, he took first place. Cleans well, including carpets. But appetite comes with eating. The husband one day asked how I would react to the detergent. Well, I'm not sure about the second one. We talked and I forgot, and after a while he brought me my second assistant Rozity, that's the name I gave her) On the Russian market, this model is presented in white, we ordered a vacuum cleaner in Europe, there was an opportunity to choose. Preference was given to the case in black. The choice of color is not the main criterion, of course, but on a dark case, scratches and scuffs are of course less noticeable than on a light one, and they are certainly inevitable. The delivery set is quite good, although we ordered additional napkins and floor washing liquid a little later. Of the shortcomings, I will say that the original detergent is expensive. So, what's in the kit: a robot vacuum cleaner and a charging station with a pallet, in fact, the robot drives into it after finishing work. Additional accessories were packed in a box. It contained: cable, detergent, disposable wipes for dry and wet cleaning and a reusable wipe for wet cleaning. - Mopping cloths are made from absorbent fibers. They do a pretty good job of getting rid of stubborn dirt. Of course, I don’t bring the floor to such a state, but anything can happen. For example, a drop of coffee on a tile can get from the same broth. - wipes for dry cleaning use the power of an electrostatic field to capture dirt, dust) I won’t say anything about pet hair, I don’t have them). Well, actually instructions and recommendations for setting up the robot. Setting up the robot is essentially easy. The application was already downloaded to my phone, I added only iRobot Braava Jet m6 to the list and connected it. The instructions clearly show everything, so there will be no questions with the connection. iRobot Braava Jet m6 has a square shape with rounded corners. The fact that it is not round is convenient. The shape of the square allows the robot to walk along the walls, and the corners are not ignored. Camera located on the top surface, infrared sensor, gray latch cover with LED light, Home/Clean/Spot Clean control buttons. You can start the robot both from the application, or by simply pressing the Clean button. Under the lid is a water tank. Its volume is small. For ease of extraction, a handle is provided, it is foldable. The first two cleanings I filled the tank with just water. But the robot is smart, for the third time it did not want to wash the floor, the application gave an error. It was necessary to fill in liquid for mopping. I fill up the liquid every other time. By this I want to say that you can’t fool a robot) Under the tank is a special valve. Side view On the back side, on the panel, there is a parking senor. It is thanks to him that the iRobot Braava Jet m6 enters the docking station. This is what the underside looks like. Here are height recognition sensors, a napkin recognition scanner, a mount for the same napkin. That is, as soon as you install the wipe, iRobot Braava Jet m6 will automatically select the cleaning method. For the first time, to map the apartment, I installed a disposable dry cleaning cloth. I could not use the previously compiled map for IRobot Roomba S9 +. I did not appreciate the dry cleaning mode. The robot moves in zigzags and collects dust on a napkin. Everything is good if there is nothing but dust on the surface. If there are crumbs, something is scattered, small debris, it will not be completely removed. Why, because this model does not have a container for collecting garbage. He collects dust and debris on that very napkin. When I need to wash the floor, I first launch the IRobot Roomba S9+, it collects all the garbage (most often in the kitchen), and then I launch the iRobot Braava Jet m6. Now the warm season, the windows are constantly open. Like it or not, dust flies. Therefore, in the kitchen, the robot washes my floors every day. Not always, but it happens that there are problems with the water sensor. Fill the tank, insert it and the application gives such an error. You have to get the tank, check the fastening of the napkin, insert the tank. It's good when you're at home and can control it. The most unpleasant thing in this situation is that if you leave the house and start the robot, in the hope that the floor will be washed, then on your return you will be in for an "unpleasant surprise". I like the principle of iRobot Braava Jet m6. Water, well, and the actual detergent is sprayed onto the floor surface through the spray hole. After that, the robot passes over the wetted area of the surface. On one site, he can walk several times, so the cleaning time increases. If during operation the detergent runs out or the charge level becomes low, the robot automatically returns to the docking station (and the reason for the return is displayed in the application). The robot washes the floor well. In the kitchen, for example, I have both tiles and parquet. There are no stains or stripes on the tiles. Moreover, it is dark in color, and on a dark one, all the flaws are even better visible. The tiles are shining. The main task of cleaning iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a flat surface: tiles, parquet, linoleum. If you have large puddles on the floor or dried and ingrained dirt for 3-4 days, then you should not count on the fact that the robot will remove all this. During cleaning, I collect carpets, yes, I have a lot of them at home. Not everywhere, of course, and not entirely. But I will definitely say that iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an excellent assistant for daily cleaning. He does his job excellently. I read a lot of negative and dissatisfied reviews regarding this model. Ok, if you don’t like how the robot washes, take a rag in your hands, come after work and wash the floor ... there is always a choice. Even despite the shortcomings, the comments, I am satisfied with the work of iRobot Braava Jet m6.
