Go to a good locksmith!
Looks and feels identical to the original key - 2009 Mercury Mariner. The locksmith literally cut and programmed them in about 5 minutes. He mentioned that many people buy "cheap ones" online, but he was surprised that they worked 100% right away. $50 to cut and program both, so now I have two in addition to the original.
