I went insane trying to find a collar for my 15 lb cat. I didn't need a tear-off collar. I need a strong, lightweight, padded collar that carries a small inflatable rescue collar. He's going to have CSF surgery and I didn't mean to embarrass or soften him. I like this collar because it has multiple adjustment holes. It is very difficult to find a collar for a larger cat (15-20 pounds). Either collars are too small and flimsy, or dog collars are often quite heavy and too wide. It's just perfect. Again, I wouldn't recommend it as an everyday cat collar (whether indoors or outdoors) as it's not an outlier, but for this specific medical purpose I think it will work. wish us luck!
